Your payment is taken after your policy start date and is taken in the days after (up to 7 days after the policy starts).
Payment cycles;
- If you opt for a monthly direct debit, the payment will consist of monthly direct debits payable until renewal.
- If you opt for an Annual payment, the payment will be collected as one direct debit for the full policy cost in the days after the policy starts.
This occurs when your policy starts or renews, so it will always be around that date. The payment process will start at policy purchase, and the process of taking the payment can take a few days to leave your bank account. You can check the date of your renewal in your policy documents (which can be found in your account once logged into our website). We’ll also send you a reminder email before your policy renews.
Direct debit payments can take a few days for your bank to process, so we can't guarantee a specific date that the payment will leave your bank account.
